2008 Greenlands Trail Ride

What a wicked weekend! I was so tired, filthy & broken but had THE BEST fun ever & couldn't stop grinning! This was my first big two days (And silly me went for a big ride the day before, so actually THREE) of non stop muddy dusty riding! Haha

With a few spills & lots of help, I always love hitting the bush & surviving on the kindness of others. I had the pleasure of meeting some lovely people, and made some new riding friends! Def need a bigger backpack with my own tools next time round, can't wait to go again.

Not enough images sorry guys, was too busy gettin amongst it. But check out this jigger that went by on the HARD track, I couldn't believe it. Had to get a quick snap! And yup, decided not to pitch a tent for the night & slept on the dirt. Yeeeha! lol

Happy Birthday to Beth! And what a lovely thing to be doing on your special day, celebrating your pregnancy by creating some beautiful images.
It was a very last minute (Actually the day before!!) booking, and it happened to work in perfectly with my already planned trip to Brisbane, and with Beth & Simon's schedule.
It was a really relaxed & enjoyable session, and I know we have plenty of images to choose from!

Brisbane Style with a Queensland Smile! What a fun session! The gorgeous Nicole from Vivien models was the perfect look for the new Thea & Sami Collection.
Thea & Sami design and hand-print limited-edition fashions & accessories, use quality natural, cool fabrics and solvent-free inks.
Thea was the designer for the famous Brisbane skirt, which won first prize in the Memento Australia Awards. Well done Thea, and congratulations on the new collection.

Optus Starlight Foundation Charity Ball

This was the second year I have photographed this fun event - so thanks for having me back Optus! This years theme was 1920’s Gangsters & Molls.

Optus has been a proud supporter of Starlight for twelve years, participating each year in Starlight Day, the Optus Golf Challenge and staff initiated fundraising events. By doing so, we have put many smiles on the faces of these special children. Starlight's mission is to brighten the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families, throughout Australia by delivering innovative programs that restore the fun, laughter and joy serious illness takes away.

The families I meet these days just amaze me how they do it all. What an exciting event.
Wendy wanted some candid shots taken close by at Southbank - we were so very lucky, with one session being cancelled this morning due to rain - it held off and literally started just as I put my camera into my pack. Phew!
