Siblings Session

This would have to be the quickest easiest session I have done!
We met at the Spit with a final product in mind, and got stuck into the task at hand.
A fantastic and thoughtful Christmas gift idea for mum and dad, we had the portrait of these siblings presented as a beautiful 20x30" Modern Art Mount - you can't go wrong! They are going to love it.
Thanks guys, nice to meet you all.

Charlotte & buba Don

Here are some cheeky fun shots of little Charlotte & Don playing at home.
Just an update on how they have grown, it reminded me that either children are getting faster - or I am slowing down! lol
Still, we had some fun jumping on the beanbag and playing. So cute.

Therapy Solutions

Don't forget we also offer corporate photography sessions!
We come to your office space and work quickly and painlessly so that you can get on with your day.
Email me with your requirements, including number of staff and what you will be using the images for - web or print - for a quote.

Here are some samples of the Therapy Solutions team in Brisbane.
Thanks for having me out there guys :-)

Look forward to working with you both :-)

Gary, Liz and baby Eva

What a dream session. Little buba Eva was just perfect, and slept most of the time. Only a month old, she is the most precious little thing. I left feeling so excited about the arrival of our buba.

The studio actually photographed Liz and Gary's wedding, so it was really nice to catch them again and hear how they have been.
Oh yes, and congratulations are in order to Gary on his new job!

BAA Christas lunch 2008

Another huge Christmas lunch for the Brisbane Advertising Association. The organisers do such a wonderful job and raise so much money for charity - it's just awesome.
As always, everyone looked to be having a ball.
I was thrilled to see Dave Callum (comedian) perform as I have been keen to see him for some time, very funny. Very cool association to be working with, so thanks for having me again Dim.
Have an awesome Christmas guys :-)

My belly is growing!

We are at the 6 month mark, can you believe it!
Time flys, and I imagine so much faster when you have a buba to watch grow.

My pregnancy is still going really well, I feel so lucky. Just so excited, and getting into the "nesting" thing. Actually, I think it's Jim more then me!
It all started with a feature wall in bubs room, and has now turned into a full inside paint, and an upside down house over the weekend as we started on a cleaning frenzie - not quite making any sense as we went. lol
The place looks like a bomb hit, but very excited to see it coming together much better then it was before. The aim - to be simplistic and making it easier to clean for when bubs comes!
No more clutter! Something I need help with, and I have the right man for the job. His a gem.

But yes, back to belly. Jim's taken a couple of shots - oddly enough the bigger tum close up shot was taken the week before last weeks beach shot. What a week! Was so lovely, we got up at 4.20am and hit the beach by 5am with the boys most mornings. Feels sooo good, and it's just perfect that time of morning. I hope we can keep it up, then things wont be so challenging when buba arrives. Oww, I don't know, winter is a whole other story in the mornings. lol

It's funny how the bump constantly changes in size, depending upon what and when I have eaten, and the time of day. Looks huge in the below shots, it must have been afternoon.
On Sunday morning we woke to discover the line (Linea Nigrea) is beginning!
Jim can't wait till I'm the size of a basketball, but I'm in no rush. lol
Bubs movement yesterday was heaps, and other days not much at all.
The coolest thing is actually seeing him push out on my belly! I imagine this is only going to get bigger!
Hehe

Oh yes, for those pregnant out there - I am yet to read this, but have been highly recommended the book BIRTH SKILLS by Juju Sundin & Sarah Murdoch

Wild Things Of Noosa!

Check out this little dude! Lessa was so kind as to volunteer her little fella Zander, to be the super star model wearing the cute as bloomers from Wild Things of Noosa - made by Selina.
I found these on http://www.madeit.com.au/ and had to have a pair!
Turns out, Selina needed some shots - so we traded :-)

Oh yes, and couldn't resist a couple of shots with Zander and his big brother Lennox.
Thank you to everyone involved! :-)
Oh yes, and all those who responded to my call out.

Alana & Nick

This was suppose to be a big surprise for Nick, but didn't quite work out to plan! lol Turned out good though, it meant he had to be in a couple of shots. Haha
Was nice to capture the "before bubs" family photograph with their other two babies. Soo cute.
I really enjoyed this casual session with Alana, and talking bumps! So thank you :-)
It's all so very exciting!
And hey, we made it to the furniture sale over the weekend and now have some bedside tables (Ow, and a couple of other additions lol), so thank u very much!
Here's a peep at some of the non-nudie shots :-)

Sophia & Isabella

From the moment I walked in the door, the energy levels were high. Bounce bounce, boing boing… Jumping jumping all over the room. hehee
I actually photographed these two little babes when they were but a few weeks old, four years ago!
It turned out to be perfect that they were staying at the Hyatt – Sanctuary Cove this weekend, all the way from Dalby. A great opportunity to catch up for some fun!
I’m thrilled to bits with the images, with credit to Celina and Todd for being the silliest mummy and daddy they could be to get these girls giggling.
Both girls did so well, and deserved their special reward: to go for a swim. Argh the joys of being a child :-)

Alice In Wonderland 1st Party!!

Another huge event for Nicole to organise! It's Liliana's 1st Birthday!!!
Wow time fly’s, and yet again I find myself wondering around Alan & Nic's beautiful home, chasing children and families for that quick moment in time.
It was a busy afternoon, with loads of action to capture!
Nicole did such an amazing job with the Alice in Wonderland theme and yummy treats. The kids looked like they were having an absolute ball. I know Mr Monte certainly was! lol

Little Liliana started to slow down, UNTIL mum bought out her big gift - and wow! That turned the frown upside down instantly - just watching her giggle with glee was so special.
The album is going to be gorgeous xo

If anyone can help me with getting images on this blog much larger, and especially the little detail shots - it would be greatly appreciated :-)

Jamie & Mathew

After already having to postpone due to the wetness, and with the weather the way it is on the Coast, I think we were probably lucky to have the break in the clouds for our session together Monday afternoon.
Jamie has been so excited about our shoot, that I'm thrilled to present these gorgeous shots of her and Mathew. Sooo many to choose from.
We started in an alley way and just strolled through Surfers stopping at whatever caught our eye.
I love fun casual portrait sessions like this, so thanks guys. I especially wish ALL my shoots finished with ice cream! yummy :-)

Artist Group Meeting - Sunday Chrissy farewell

Another huge thank you to my beautiful man for driving and accompanying me to the Artist Group Christmas lunch in Brissy. I was busting to go to say my farewells to the gorgeous group of talented artists, but was so knackered from the travel on Saturday! And lucky he came, wow, we hit that storm on the way home, I could not believe the traffic from the Coast to Brissy. I’ve never seen it banked up for so many kilometres before!

Anyhow, thank you lovely ladies for having us there – Warmest wishes to each of you and your ventures in 2009!

Daniel & Toni's Wedding Day - 15th November 2008

Toni & Danny are so lovely & laid back, it made for a fun day for everyone. The most important shots of the day for Toni was with her two beautiful horses, how fun! hehe

I love a bride that isn't too fussy about the wear on her dress - Toni, I'm serious, let's go swimming in it. I would love to do some trash the dress shots! haha
(Just search Trash The Dress on Google to know what I'm referring to OR http://trashthedressaustralia.wordpress.com/)

Oh and a special mention to their lovely daughter Madison, 10yrs, who did the most amazing job at the Church with her reading. I was very impressed, well done Maddi.

The wedding was held at the gorgeous Peppers - Lockyer Vally. Everywhere you look there is a photographic opportunity. Beautiful. A must stay!
Oh my gosh, and the church at Rosewood. WOW! I was really suprised, inside it's huge, and just beautiful, stop in if your driving by - St Bridids church, Railway Street, Rosewood.

We were so lucky, with all the crazy storms lately - it was such a gorgeous sunny day - Just perfect.
