Monday afternoon I met the talented Kasper Hauser for some portraits. Make sure you check out his beats, very very nice! Absolutely love what I have heard of his work and his a local Gold Coast artist - even better!!
He had a collection of cool locations and concepts, so we set off on an afternoon journey. It was interesting hearing his stories, and so much fun making someone else’s ideas happen.
I think we'll be back to do more, can't wait to hear the Album!!
Cheers :-)

Wow! I'm so so flattered when families track me down to come back to photograph them again, even after 4 years! How cool :-)
Was a bit of a funny morning. We decided to go to the Powerhouse, and silly me - having only been there on a Saturday in the afternoon for weddings, had a jaw dropping moment as I pulled into the round-about of the powerhouse to see stalls & people absolutely everywhere! Whops! Markets!!lol
We walked around a bit, having not much luck at all! The playground was the next option - which was all fenced off for maintenance. We then walked around looking for more locations, half of New Far park looks like a construction site, with the gorgeous trees all fenced off! Arghh! lol
After a few snaps at my favorite toilet block, lol, we went back to the main building and found an awesome spot tucked behind the stall holders to play & got some really gorgeous shots. Phew!
Actually, it was a fantastic morning! And great to stroll around and have a peep at the stalls after - couldn't have been more perfect. Doing what I love – photography & markets afterwards. hehe
I can't wait to show off these images to the Bakers, so so sooo cute - I love the boy’s cute red hair, and cheeky grins. Thanks so much guys, and thanks for giving me your jumper to wear Michael, I felt like a dag pinching it, but man it was needed! Crisp winter air! lol
See you soon :-)

Where I get to catch up with the wonderful collection of photographer friends I have made over the last 12 months. And as usual, Paula pulled off another hat trick and managed to wrangle some of the greats from the AIPP awards cocktail party the evening before, to come & talk with us. I don't think I mentioned, but a couple of lunches back she surprised us all with the amazing guest speaker - Yervant! The WORLDS #1 wedding photographer!! IDOL - helloo!! lol
She had the "nerve" to ask him to speak, and with a phone call the next day apparently Yervant said " Paula, are you crazy!!". lol All the way from
Was awesome, just awesome!
Anyhow, this week was the gorgeous David Oliver - one of my true favorites. Classic. Along with Andrew Kopp - brilliant and Tero Sade, whos work is also just stunning.
Defiantly keeps me charged, inspired and feeling like ANYTHING is possible. Paula, you’re a legend!
Had to get a mug shot with the legends Yervant & David. Yeha! Cool!!!
A very last minute booking to photograph the formal of Allira. How bad am I! In discussing this shoot to a fellow photographer on Monday, I realized I didn't even know what school it was! ugh! lol
Very fabulous indeed! With the grand arrival at the Marriott fit for a star, I was not surprised when some tourists came over to me asking what the event was, and if there were famous people over there! lol
The girls looked stunning, the modes of transport were jaw dropping and the boys looked sharp. I actually quite enjoyed watching them all strut their stuff. haha
