Alissa & Dan's Wedding Broadbeach 10th May 2008

Oww, these guys are just the cutest! Remember their e-session we did? Well, the big day finally arrived & it was just gorgeous! They could not have asked for better weather, having the ceremony right on the point looking out to the beautiful ocean.
We took some bridal party shots on the beach, then headed over to a park closer to the reception venue - Flames on the river. As usual, I found myself using the back of the toilet block to create these gorgeous little images!! Haha, I'm glad they trusted me! Was just magic & worked so beautifully with their light clothes.

After playing around in the leaves, I then ducked back to Flames to get a few more snaps, and let the bridal party relax & let their hair down with their guests. What a groovy little venue, I loved the artworks & am told amazing food!
Thank you so so much guys for being so wonderful to work with, was great fun. Can't wait for the album plan. ;-)
Actually, with your relaxed attitude about your dress Alissa, you guys might be interested in a trash the dress session to finish up in your album?! Would be a blast - let me know.

Derek & Dwyer Lawerys - Southport

A huge congratulations to the Derek & Dwyer team! They have just moved into new bigger better premises which mark another exciting step towards growth in the business. I love seeing small business grow, so it was nice to come along to this opening, not only as a photographer but as a guest - this meant yum yum Champaign! hehe. The office looked terrific with a collection of local artists works for everyone to enjoy. I photographed the team back in January & look forward to doing more work with them.

Craven Hamilton Island Wedding 4th May 2008

It's the phone call every photographer dreads (NOT!!). Catherine, we have some news, we have decided to have our wedding on Hamilton Island, want to come?? How awesome! Great couple, great location = great fun!
Having spent time doing one of our e-sessions with Renae & Ben, we all felt like friends, making the wedding day very relaxed for everyone.
It was the perfect day for them, and so intimate.
And what a dress! Have a look at the gorgeous style of Renae's specially made dress. I love the browns, they all look very sharp!
I couldn't resist doing a cheesy jumping shot! hahaha
My favorite image would have to be of Renae's mum looking on as her daughter put her dress on, I quickly snapped this moment as I walked in the door. How precious.
Of course I had to get one with my face with Rena & Ben. hehe

Thanks so much guys, it was wonderful and I also enjoyed having the opportunity to take an extra day off to relax by the pool with my girlfriend Brookie. We both felt very lucky, and loved the relaxing days break!

MacLeod Family Day at the beach

Owww, I love seeing these little cuties. I have been photographing the MacLeod family since Yvonne & Greg were expecting. Now the gorgeous Ethan & Talia are the big three.
Today they had a trip to the beach, got to play around in front of the camera, come back to order some wall art for their new home & visit Spot, then head out for fish and chips. The perfect Sunday fun! Was just a shame the Spit was closed, so we couldn't use the spots I had picked out that were suited for this later time of day! But they are still super gorgeous! Look forward to the next visit guys. xo

Rebecca & Jason's Wedding Day 26th April 2008

What a gorgeous couple! I love watching the emotion of the groom as his bride walks down the isle, and Jason's response was no exception. It made everyone tingle to see the love shine from him as he couldn't hold back his tears of joy. So so special.
It was a perfect day, with gorgeous blue skies - it's a day they will never forget.
Married at The Pavillion, we then went over to the story bridge for photographs.
Enjoy your honeymoon guys, look forward to sharing the memories from you day.

And please excuse the order of the prints, I have a real struggle using this blog to get them in order! It's very tricky. haha
